Pecan growers in South America usher in good harvest this year. It marks pecans farms in the South after disasters such as hurricane and frozen have recovered to normal. Pecans are grown from east to west. In the north, few organic pecans are planted. It is reported that the quality of pecans produced in certain western farms reaches the highest in the past five years.

Local purchase of America is increasing, but still lower than the export in the previous year. However, it shows strong trend of revival. Compared to the previous producing season, pecans export in this September increased 2 million pounds, and in October increased 5 million pounds. As for the Chinese market, pecans export to Chinese market in September doubled than last year, and tripled in October.
