AgRural said on Nov.30 that due to sufficient precipitation in middle and western area, Brazil has speeded up soybean seedling for 2020-2021 season since middle of October. At present, the seedling has entered the last stage.

Data shows as of Nov.26, Brazilian soybeans seeding has finished 87% of predicted growing area, increasing 6% compared to that in the previous week, and in tie with last year. The middle and west areas have largely finished soybean seedling. Parana and Rondonia State in southeast entered the last stage. In Rio Grande do Sul and Santa Catarina, the seeding lagged behind due to uneven precipitation.

All sides predicted that 2020-2021 Brazilian soybean yield may reach 133 million ton, which will be the new record in history. AgRural predicted that the soybean growing area in 2020-2021 season is 38.3 million ha., increasing 3.6% year on year; the predicted yield is 132.2 million ton.
