In such a difficult year for the global economy, the positive performance of Paraguayan soybean exports has mitigated the negative impact of the COVID-19 to a certain extent. The latest foreign trade report released by the Paraguayan Grain and Oilseed Exporters and Traders Association (Capeco) shows that from January to November 2020, Paraguayan soybean exports have increased by 23.5% year-on-year. It is expected that, by the end of this year, soybean exports will hit a record since 2016.
