Brazil’s "Agricultural Channel" reported on December 21 that Safras & Mercado, an agricultural consulting agency, said on Monday that Brazil’s 2020-2021 soybean planting is coming to an end, and 96% of the estimated planting area of 38.4 million hectares has been planted, slightly lower than 96.2% in the same period last year, and 96.7% of planting progress in the same period in history. The planting progress a week ago was 93.5%.
Safras &Mercado's survey report shows that 7 states have completed soy sowing this season. The 7 states are Mato Grosso, Parana, Mato Grosso do Sul, Goiás, Minas Gerais, Bahia and São Paulo.
