The Netherlands Has Invested US$ 250 Million in Cashew Nut Industry in Pingfu Province, Vietnam

The Dutch Mekong Cooporation EUROPE BV Group (MCE) and Anyue Energy One Co., Ltd. (AVP) recently held a working meeting with the leaders of Pingfu Province on the investment project of cashew nut industry in circular economy mode.

Ruan Qingjin, general manager of MCE, revealed that MCE and AVP will invest a total of 250 million US dollars in cashew nut industry in Pingfu Province; Among them, an experimental area for research and development of important fruit trees and a cashew nut processing plant were built, covering an area of 200 hectares.

The investment and development project in the raw material area covers an area of 200,000 hectares with an investment amount of 124 million US dollars. The total investment of cashew nut production and export cashew nut shell oil refining project is 81 million US dollars. The annual output of cashew nut factory is 168,750 tons, cashew nut shell oil refining factory is 118,125 tons, and cashew nut shell residue factory is 118,125 tons. The total area of the three factories is 50 hectares.

In addition, MCE and AVP also invested 45 million US dollars to build an export sawdust particle processing plant covering an area of 50 hectares. At the same time, it is expected to build a cashew nut research center in Deliu Township, Budeng County, Pingfu Province.
