Russian Government Clarifies Export Tariff Criteria of Wheat, Barley and Corn

On Jan.23, Mishustin, The Prime Minister of Russia issued No.33 Government Decree, which regulates export tariff of wheat per ton in Russia is 25 Euro from Feb.15 to Feb.28; the export tariff of wheat and corn is zero from Feb.15 to March 14. The export tariff of wheat per ton in Russia is soared to 50 Euro from March 1 to June 30; the export tariff of wheat and corn is respectively 10 Euro and 25 Euro from Mar.15 to June 30. Besides, grain export larger than 17.5Mt quota will be charged with tariff equaling to 50% of custom price of the product, and no lower than 100 Euro. The decision is only limited to grain export to counters other than Eurasian Economic Union (EEU).
