2020/2021 global pistachio yield broke original record, reaching 985,000t, increasing 40% on YoY basis. The globally sufficient pistachio supply resource, trade volume, consumption and inventory are increased accordingly. The high yield of pistachio in 2020/2021 is mainly from USA and Turkey. According to the latest statistical data of USDA, US ushers in great harvest of pistachio in 2020/2021, and yield is expected to increase 42%, reaching the highest 476,000t in history. Export volume also increased 20%, reaching 225,000t. China and EU are their important export markets. Besides, inventory of US pistachio is rising accordingly, reaching 139,000t.
