It is reported by Korean media on April 20 that the government passed “Amendment to Regulations on Tariff Quota (President Decree)” through voting on state affairs conference. The document regulates to reduce imported edible corns from 3% to 0% before the end of this year.

The amendment will be applicable from the date of release (April 23, 2021 as expected) to import declarants, and regulates to finish zero-tariff import of 128t edible corns before the end of this year.
