European Commission (EU) released 2021/644 Ordinance to revise maximum residual limit (MRL) of fluxapyroxad, hymexazol, metamitron, penflufen and spirotetramat in tree nuts.

Appendixes II and III of EC No 396/2005 are revised as follows:

(1) Five columns of fluxapyroxad, hymexazol, metamitron, penflufen and spirotetramat are added to Appendix II, specifically:

Residual and MRL (mg/kg) of pesticide (some products)

(2) Appendixes III is revised as follows:

In Part A, four columns of fluxapyroxad, hymexazol, metamitron, and spirotetramat are deleted.

It is learnt that this law is implemented from Nov.10, 2021.
