As reported by foreign media on March 3, Canadian sunflower seed growers had good harvest in 2020, reaching nearly 100,000t for the first time since 2010. However, the sunflower seed yield this year is not optimistic.

According to prediction report released by Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) recently, 2021 sunflower seed yield is expected to reach 75,000t; seeding area is 86,500acre, approaching to 63,000t and 76,600acre in 2019.
