The market share of cashew nuts imported from Vietnam in Turkey is 92.58%, far higher than the level two months ago in 2020. Vietnam cashew nuts industry is getting the upper hand in Turkish market.

In the first two months of the year, the import volume of cashew nuts in Turkey is USD 8.48million; the import volume and amount respectively increased 140.6% and 108.8% respectively on year-on-year basis.

According to the statistical data of International Trade Center quoted by the Ministry of Industry and Trade Import & Export Bureau, the annual increase rate of cashew nut import to Turkey during 2016-2020 reaches 20%, rising from 5580t in 2016 to 9300t in 2020. The annual growth rate of import amount of cashew nuts from Vietnam to Turkey during 2016-2020 reached 88.1%, from 762t in 2016 to 8500t in 2020.
