Rapeseed Market Trade Report released by USDA shows most
regions of Canadian Prairie are under dry and hot weather, which greatly
affects rapeseed yield this year.
The predicted data of Canadian rapeseed yield in 2021 reduced over 4
million ton to 16 million ton. The reduction of average unit area yield is
reduced nearly 20%, while the less harvest area is caused by larger area of
rapeseed harvested as fodder. Due to reduced yield, the opening inventory is
reduced, and the rapeseed supply is expected to be over 20% lower, creating the
lowest level in recent ten years.
