Pubtime:2021-09-18Author:Source: Hits:

According to news of Magway Region, the precipitation during rainy season this year is abnormal. Thus, sesames yield of most growers in this region is reduced, and some sesames are ruined. Therefore, sesame growers are forced to grow peanuts, and most growers face losses.

It is learned that during rainy season this year precipitation is sufficient only in Pwintbyu Township. Besides, irrigation water used by farmers is from dam reservoir and precipitation. Thus, sesames are harvested earlier and with good yield. Except that, precipitation in other areas is abnormal, and farmland lacks water. The sesames yield is low.
