The Ukrainian Grain Traders Association (UGA) said that
Ukraine’s corn production in 2021 may reach a record 38-40 million tons,
compared with 30 million tons in 2020.
The Ministry
of Agriculture of Ukraine has stated that as of September 9, Ukraine had
harvested 64,300 tons of corn, and the harvested area accounted for 0.3% of the
planned harvest area.The yield of corn is 4.66 tons per hectare.
The
Ministry of Agriculture of Ukraine estimated last month that this year’s corn
output will reach 37.1 million tons, and the export volume in the 2020/22
season is expected to reach 30.9 million tons, which is higher than the export
volume in 2020/21 of 23 million tons.
The U.S.Department of Agriculture estimated that Ukraine’s corn production this year will reach 39 million tons this year, and the corn export volume for the 2021/22 season is expected to be 32 million tons.
