September 22 reported that, according to Vietnam's General Administration of Customs statistics, year-to-September 15th,cashew kernel exports amounted to 398,100 tons and exports of nearly $ 2.5 billion, an increase of 18% and 15%, respectively.The largest export market is the United States , with an export volume of 117,505 million tons and an export value of 670.27 million U.S.dollars (data updated to the end of August) 

Other major markets include: 51,730 tons of exports to China, with an export value of 384.5 million U.S.dollars; 47,161 tons of Netherlands, with an export value of 25486 million U.S.dollars; 11,056 tons of Canada with an export value of 73 million U.S.dollars.

In terms of imports, Vietnam imported 107.76 million tons of cashew nut raw in the first half of September, with an import value of 139.8 million US dollars.

From the beginning of the year to September 15th, Vietnam imported 2.368514 million tons nationwide, with an import value of nearly 3.5 billion U.S.dollars, an increase of 127% and 171.5% respectively year-on-year.

It is worth mentioning that in just over 8 months, cashew imports far exceeded the whole year of 2020.
