To better listen expert opinions and gain expert guidance, an expert workshop for the National Food Safety Standards – Nut & Seed Food Held by the Association was held by the Association on May 21, 2014 according to relevant suggestions made by the Food Sub-committee of the National Food Safety Standard Evaluation Committee.
The definitions, terms, physicochemical indexes, quoted standards and other contents with respect to the National Food Safety Standards – Nut & Seed Food were carefully discussed by participating experts and all expert opinions were answered, one by one, by the drafting unit, with relevant items to be perfected being recorded in a detailed way. The Director Wang Jun from the Standards Department II of China National Center for Food Safety Risk Assessment, many experts from centers for disease control and prevention in Zhejiang, Guangdong, Jiangsu etc., Wen Yangyang, the senior vice chairman of the Association, as well as relevant experts from ChaCha, the standard drafting unit, Anhui Truelove, Jiangsu Alishan, Zhejiang Dahaoda, Sichuan Huiji, Xianyang Caihong, Ningbo Hengkang, Hangzhou Yaoshengji and other relevant units all attended the Workshop.
At the afternoon, the members of the standard drafting group of the Association went on the Workshop, to discuss and revise the texts, preparation instructions and other contents of the standard one by one according to relevant revision suggestions put forward by the experts and assign relevant tasks for relevant instructions that need to the supplemented. All experts showed that they would cooperate with each other in revising the standard before the end of May and then submit it to the National Food Safety Standard Evaluation Committee.
