At the invitation of Liaoning Tieling Hazel Industry Association, a delegation headed by Weng Yangyang, the standing vice-president of our association, paid a visit to Tieling City Liaoning Province on September 26 for investigation on the hazel industry development.

Led by President Zhang Qifa, Standing Vice President Lou Tieming, and Vice President and Secretary-general Chen Sheng of Tieling Hazel Industry Association, the delegation visited Gongke family farm in Yaopu Town, Tieling County, wild tribute hazel professional cooperatives in Liqianhu Town, Tieling County, and Dasheng Hazel Processing Plant—a hazel shallow processing enterprise in Yinzhou District, and held a symposium to communicate fully with leaders and entrepreneurs of the hazel industry in Tieling City. At the symposium, Standing Vice President Lou Tieming introduced the development situation of the hazel industry in Tieling City, and all delegates introduced in detail the hazel planting, processing and market situation.

Standing Vice President Weng Yangyang of our association has firstly affirmed the cooperative model adopted for the hazel planting in Tieling and hoped to summarize and promote the model throughout the country; pointed out that there was room for further improvement in the local product processing link, the development capacity of new products should be further improved, the equipment improved, multi-flavor and multi-process products developed, and market promotion efforts increased. Delegates indicated that the symposium was very productive and they would strengthen the industry-wide exchange study, comprehensively improve the development level of Tieling hazels, and make Tieling hazels into the country and the world.
