Under the invitation of California agriculture department, nuts specialized committee of China Food Industry Association (our committee in short) organized 28 people of China nuts delegation to America under the leadership of Chen Xianbao chairman who undertaken full directional and multifaceted investigation of American nuts industry from August 23 to September 6.

During the investigation, under the high attention and thoughtful arrangement of California agriculture department, our delegation successively investigated California Davis University and visited blue diamond company, paramount farm and millwork plant. Also, under the organization of California agriculture department, our committee had panel discussion with American almond association and nut association. In the discussion, the two parties had frank and friendly communication on Chinese and American government’s management area of nuts industry, the function of industry association, the policy, law and standard that the two parties concern, and market promotion and development, etc.

The delegation also received warm invitation of American pecans grower association and Georgia pecans grower association to visit Hadson Company and many pecan farm and processing enterprises.

American pecans grower association also specially organized the discussion with American personnel in the same trade of nuts. The delegation thus had face to face and effective communication with over 30 enterprise representatives of nuts grow and processing enterprises who specially came to Georgia from Texas, New Jersey, new Mexico, etc.

The American party paid high attention to the delegation’s visit. The director of California agriculture department attended the meeting in person and governor of Georgia and mayors of various regions also participated in the meeting. The whole investigation also received warm welcome and thoughtful reception of the local government and the relevant departments and enterprises.

Before the end of the investigation, Chairman Chen Xianbao organized closing meeting at the same night. All the staff then enthusiastically made speech who expressed one after another that the investigation had wide coverage from government to industry association’s management service, from scientific research institution’s superior species to advanced industrialized planting and picking, from scientific and reasonable enterprise management to restrict and standardized work flow. The investigation and the broad and in-depth communication really opened our eyes and let us learn new knowledge and things and know the difference between us. We sincerely feel that the investigation had abundant achievement and good results.

The members of the delegation are made up of our famous and excellent nuts and roasted seeds enterprises. This investigation is the first investigation to America by China’s nuts and roasted seeds industry since the founding of China, which provided an extremely good opportunity of learning and communication for China’s nuts and roasted seeds enterprises and enjoyed extremely great significance. We sincerely expect that the investigation can really promote the development of China’s nuts and roasted seeds enterprises and hope that we can share the experience with the whole industry so that we can strive together for the development of China’s nuts and roasted seeds industry and live up to the great trust and expectation of the whole industry!
