The Association Was Invited to Warning Communication Meeting of Second-stage Supervision And Casual Inspection Information Industry by the National Food and Drug General Office.


The Association was invited to warning communication meeting of second-stage supervision and casual inspection information industry held on Nov. 25 by the 3rd office of food safety supervision and management of the national food and drug general office, to notify related casual inspection information and listen to opinions in the industry.


During the meeting, the second-stage supervision and casual inspection information was notified first. For the casual inspection, roasted nuts industry covers 26 provinces, 265 enterprises, 405 batches of products, including 30 unqualified batches, with unqualified rate of 7.41%.

    

Unqualified items mainly include: Peroxide value, acid value, coliform bacteria, sulfur dioxide, cyclamate, saccharin sodium and mold. The peroxide value and acid value are more serious. Experts suggested that the production enterprises shall strictly further control the raw materials and use additives correctly.

    

The Association recorded the meeting notification in detail. It proposed that the products are qualified when left factory, but since the grease content of nuts and seeds products is higher, the conditions of storage and transportation and other links during circulation, sales, casual inspection, etc. as well as the impact on products shall be paid attention to. The Association said that it would research further and work with processing, circulation, sales parties and other related parties, to improve the quality and safety for nuts and seeds products during circulation.
