In order to safeguard self-discipline and integrity in the
industry, further standardize production and operation of imported nut
products, provide safe and health products and service for a large number of
consumers and protect production safety and legal interest of the industry and
enterprise, the association has organized to formulate “Regulations for
Standardizing Production and Operation of Imported Nut Products” in combination
with current situation and development demand of the industry. The regulation
was reviewed on July 17, 2015 by the board of directors of the association and
issued on July 20, 2015, which will be implemented and executed in the industry
since August 1, 2015.
Legal basis for issuing and executing the regulation is:
1. Responsibility of the industrial
association entitled by the article 9 of chapter in the newly issued “Food
Safety Law of the People’s Republic of China”;
2. Functions as defined in the article five of chapter in “Articles of the Specialized Committee for Nuts and Roasted Seeds of China National Food Industry Association”: “actively carry out self-discipline in the industry, formulate industrial regulation and monitor its execution and standardize industrial behaviors”.
3. Relevant articles of “Self-disciplinary Convention for Food Safety
of National Nut and Roasted Seed Industry” passed on April 19, 2013.
Contents of “Regulations for Standardizing Production and
Operation of Imported Nut Products” are shown in the column of “regulations and

text into English and print it out for releasing to relevant member enterprises
and relevant enterprises and associations at home and abroad for execution.
