In the afternoon of Aug. 2, 2016, Weng Yangyang, the standing Vice President of CNSA met Mr. Randy Hudson, the President of US National Pecan Growers Council, in Jinmao Westin Hotel, and carried out friendly communication.

Mr. Randy Hudson introduced Mr. Kevin J.Ivey, who is from James L.Ivey LTD, Texas and will be the next President of US National Pecan Growers Council to Weng Yangyang, and reported the planting area of pecan and output in this year. Meanwhile, Mr. Hudson expressed deep concern on Chinese nut market, and confidence in development prospect of Chinese nuts market.

Weng Yangyang also introduced and analyzed current situations of the Chinese nuts market, and reminded US peers of making accurate market development decision by deeply understanding current situations of nuts market in China, which is important for US peers. Weng wished a better development of US Pecans industry in China.

Both sides communicated about pecans import/export tax rate and implementation situations of standards regarding pecans.
