As entrusted by
Chile Embassy in China, leaders of Specialized Committee for Nuts and Roasted
Seeds of China National Food Industry Association (hereinafter referred to as
CNSA) met the delegates of Chile Walnuts Association in Beijing on July 13.
The Chile
Walnuts Association paid a goodwill visit to CNSA with five planting and
processing enterprises of Chile walnuts and prunes.
Ms. Maria
Paz Soto from Chile Walnuts Association firstly introduced the overall
development situations of Chile walnut and prune plantation, processing and
marketing.
Weng Yangyang,
the Deputy Chairman of CNSA introduced current situations of nuts and seeds
industry, as well as the market situations in China. Weng said CNSA wished a
favorable development of Chile nuts industry in China, and meanwhile would be
willing to make joint efforts to help Chine nuts enter the Chinese market.
Later, both parties consulted friendly on market information of nuts industry of the two countries, and further promotion of exchange, cooperation and trade between nuts enterprises and associations in the two countries.
